WHISPERING OAKS TRAIL

Also known as the shotpouch trail. This trail connects Lower Roast Meat Hill Rd. and Iron Works Road. Their is a parking area near #120 Roast Meat Hill Rd. and the trail skirts the edge of the neighbors driveway. Please be respectful and stay on the trail. Do not use the driveway. The trail is about 0.7 miles long and is relatively easy going. There is a stream crossing and the Roast Meat Hill side has a little wet area near the entrance. There is also a parking area on Iron Works adjacent to a driveway. Due to sight lines on Iron Works, please pull up past the trail head sign so the neighbors can see when they pull out of their driveway. There is only room for one car at each parking spot.
